Kor leaving for Melbourne
The long awaited CNY came and went in an instant, and suddenly, it was about time to bid my kor farewell as he's leaving to pursue studies in his film interests all the way in Melbourne.
I still could recall the days he spent deciding over whether or not he wanted to go overseas for studies. The money concern, his choice of studies, and to live alone away from his family which he has never done before for his whole life. And so fast, it was time to bid goodbye already....
I specially took half day to ensure ample time to go to the airport to send my kor and dad off.. only to realise that my manager was planning to give us CNY treat for lunch that day! ah... there goes my Crystal Jade treat haha..
We reached T3 super early.. and yeah it was our first time at T3 so the few of us were quite excited to explore it. The departure halls we first stepped into looked pretty posh and professional. But the lack of people there did feel a bit weird.

Visiting other floors for shops and food there the novelty of the new terminal starts to wear off and with so many heartland shops like NTUC, Kopitiam, MiniToons, these floors start to remind me of our heartland malls like Jurong Point haha....

Exploring the place, snapping lotsa photos and after having dinner together, it was really time to bid farewell... I guess we all felt that we'll miss him cos all of us ladies teared haha.. could tell that my mum couldn't bear to see kor off.. but we all know he's going to pursue a better future and hope when he's back he will be able to have his dream career. All the best to him! =)
