the phenomenological crowd
i know.. i know... i should be rushing the report due on Monday and not be blogging away here... just wanna blog about the crowd in the chem engin e5 computer lab today... at 1030pm, all the seats are filled, all the computers are in use, everyone is either typing vigorously away or having heated discussions with each other. You wouldn't guess that it's in fact late on a Saturday night without checking the clock (or the calendar for that matter). sighz~ this is what happens when you combine a super tedious 7-people project with a computer program that is only available in school, particularly the abovementioned computer lab and another one which is closed on Saturday nights and Sundays.
Design Project II (DP2) is really one of a kind man. i've never done such an extensive project with everyone's units to be designed all interconnected with each other. Takes a lot of teamwork and patience to relax all that tension and stress sometimes. makes me wonder if i'm really cut out for being a chemical engineer... and in particular, a design engineer...
Sometimes i really wonder how much i have learnt in the four long years here. when asked about what may seem as fundamental theories and basic concepts.. i either can't remember or not know it well enough. i can't imagine how much risk there is to get someone like me to design a chemical plant haha... feel so paiseh...
ok.. enough of my complaints. time for my HDA reactor again. I'll be free from it on Monday! finally........
