Last Minute
although i'm not exactly a very consistent person, i haven't been doing work really last minute... well except for today's episode.
cos we were supposed to hand up an interim report for our plant design today during a team leaders' meeting at 5pm. and since yesterday we kind of almost finished i had thought there was definitely no problem in meeting the deadline today. and boy was i wrong..
after my lessons in the morning, i joined my group at about 1pm only to realise that our hysys (the program to simulate the plant design) not just isn't up and running, it hasn't even converged.
we all started to get a bit panicky, but there was still 4 hours and i thought we could definitely finish by then.
erm.. not exactly, cos at 4 plus we were still busily trying to get the hysys and report going. haha.. today i realised i cannot work very well under stress cos i was like making really stupid mistakes like copying and pasting the wrong things, omiting stuff and can't even do simple mass balance. gosh~
at 5pm.. we are still not done!! *panic mode for ting* but ting decided to represent the team leader to go for the meeting so that the team leader can stay and contribute for the remaining half hour (assuming the meeting will at least last for one hour). haha.. the most epic thing was throughout the whole meeting i was so stressed, seeing other groups having their completed reports and kept willing time to pass slower yet feeling the seconds tick by me very quickly. i really wanted to msg them to enquire their progress but kept decided against it in case i create more panic haha...
in fact, at about 530pm and there was still no sign of them, i was already thinking up of excuses and questions that i can perhaps use to delay the professors and stall for time -_-'''
but yea..
it all went well and we handed up our report in time!
