been wanting to blog for quite some time.. but had been busy slacking lately haha...

over-ly warm birthday celebration

had a nice weekend eating, shopping, slacking, celebrating etc. finally met up with the worm family on sat.. and it was a really unforgettable birthday celebration i tell you... first up, we got a cake for the birthday girls, and as we were having dinner at fish & co, we asked them to keep the cake for us first..

when we finally finished our dinner and asked for the cake to be brought out, all of us were surprised by what came up next. first, they had candles on the cake for us already. then, they asked for the birthday girls' names, requested for them to stand up and handed them one sparkler each! lighted ones somemore! and they promptly announced to the whole restaurant that they were celebrating so and so's birthdays here. so paiseh can! i'm sure the 2 birthday girls felt more paiseh heh heh...

and that's not all haha... they then performed a birthday rap for us, complete with actions. and mind you their rap ended at the exact same time when the sparklers got used up! we suspect they rehearsed it many times before hehe..

they even took an instant photo for us for free! the birthday girls even got complimentary ice-cream and presents... all on the house! so nice right?? although we felt paiseh and overwhelmed at first, we still found their gestures quite sweet....

but no.. don't celebrate my birthday there please.. =p

white vs blue

and yesterday i went to the SI (sg idol) results release... although i didn't even watch the finals.. (sorry i'm no SI fan..)

i still had fun and was very entertained at the results release session though... thanks elinear for the free ticket! (and abel for the wonderful seats haha)

it's the first time i had to ponder carefully what to wear for an event because

1) wear blue == support hady
2) wear white == support jonathan
3) wear neither blue nor white == what are you doing at the results release in the first place?? haha..

and so.. as you may have guessed.. i wore white AND blue lar.. although i think i passed off as a jon fan more cos i wore white on top =p

i guess i would have been glad to see either of them win.. both are good in their own ways i feel.. it was a nice night out (although last minute =p) getting entertained and meeting up with the girls..
