a night at mediacorp
had the most unexpected nite in weeks. going to mediacorp wasnt the unexpected part as it was planned weeks ago and although i couldnt confirm if i could make it until this monday my heart had already wanted to go just to see what a recording studio looks like.
anyway, had free tickets because a classmate of mine participated in the Giant ambassador contest and she could get us (my class) free tickets to go down and support her during the recorded competition.
and so i went. as i told my fren its cos i'm free n its free. n he commented that i would get free exposure too! not that i wanted that of cos. but of cos to go show some support for my classmate and meet up with the long-time-no-see class too..
n boy.. it was really fun to see an actual recording! although it took up a lot of patience because it ended up starting so late. but u see how they do audience control & stuff.. like they will teach u when to cheer and when to clap. and if the cheering is not satisfactory they will record it again.
i feel like part of the acting crew man. haha
actually a lot of things seen on screen are "projected" after lots of effort here and there.. was quite interesting to see all the "projection". got to see stars too!! and hear them sing as well!! not bad ah like some concert hehe...
all in all quite an exciting night.. i had expected a short recording of the competition only. certainly din expect to see so many stars and how a studio recording is like. my classmate got third somemore! hee.. good job! i wonder when it will b screened.. hope i wun be seen on TV haha..
