cheerobics & ntu open hse
went for cheerobics on thurs. it was reli fun! despite not being able to see the performances as clearly as the heats coz there were simply too many ple there, the crowds n the excitement all ard was contagious. felt reli proud of our very own NUS squad, esp knowing the hardships my frens had gone thru fr setting up the cca to maintaining it n making it thru the finals! u ple hav done great! =p
first time i was screaming at the top of my voice too (altho tat may still b quite soft haha) suddenly reminded of this joke abt me onli being able to scream on roller coasters. not even during fright nites =p specially broke the rule for my dear frens leh =p
my poor sis had to assess prices of all the flower shops in bugis for me tho hehe.. cos i was supposed to meet her to shop after my work n b4 i went for cheerobics. n i was late n she had to wait for me for an hour so sent her for the errand hahah.. saw converse jackets at seiyu all at 50% off! so tempting.. its like onli 30 bucks..but din buy in the end la.. haa
todae went ntu for its open hse. this is like the 3rd time i'm in ntu for the past 3 weeks. the open hse was not bad, with toks, campus tours, booths n haha balloons. got a light blue balloon heez.. feel like a kid cos holdin on to a balloon ma.. but luckily i wasnt the onli one =)... anyway went for the hss tok (sch of humanities n social sciences) n it was quite a funny tok. thruout the tok the lecturers tried to distinguish their courses fr nus's... making it sound like nus is their imaginary enemy liddat haha.. den the chinese n english lecturers kept sayin wat mus follow ur passion in choosing ur uni course n it turns out tat both of them was studyin engineering b4 they made the switch! lol. is engineering that bad??? haha... hmm i agree a bit la..oops
anyway i believe no one would choose engin cos of passion la. how to hav passion in sth like engin?? haha.. well at least i din n still dun. i guess most ple wld choose engin cos they like sciences or like to build things or wan to b in a profession bah. i find it hard to imagine anyone passionate abt engin leh hehe..
work's getting a bit sian recently and as veronica saes.. when got no work to do i sian, when got a lot of work to do i oso sian.. wat do i wan? haha.. its been a bit different at work recently, my dept ple meeting problems n having some process review thing (means OT n lots of extra work) so lunches will sometimes be complaint sessions n they will b like tellin me not to work there in future la.. or even ask me to go be teacher..dun b engineer hahaa..
attachment reli makes me see another world.. n mayb cos of the sudden realisation tat i'm graduating soon.. i find myself unsure of my career path sometimes as well...
hee another long-winded entry fr me.. jus to show tat i'm still alive.. haha.. kidding la.. dun fall asleep plez =p
